Job Title: Cost Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing costs associated with our products and services. Your insights will help drive our financial strategy and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis: Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost reduction.

Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports for management, highlighting key trends and variances.

Cost Control: Implement and monitor cost control measures to ensure financial efficiency.

Inventory Management: Evaluate inventory costs and assist in inventory audits.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance.

Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage budgets.

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Conduct variance analysis and assist in financial audits.

Support financial planning and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.

Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
