Duties
Incumbent is the initial Information Resource Management customer interface. Primary responsibility for the identification of customer needs and the determination of the appropriate assignment for action of the request or problem. From newcomer intake, password resets, problem handling to final check-out, the Customer Support Center (CSC) Help Desk and Mobile Device Administrator supports all customer related issues. The position reports to the (Reviewer) Computer Management Specialist and takes direction from the (Rater) Information Systems Officer (ISO). The position has responsibility for a wide variety of administrative activities, required to support the reporting requirements of the Information Systems Center, customer access to resources and general information sharing. The responsibilities include administration of mobile device management systems and other mobile infrastructure systems, Microsoft O365 & Active Directory administration, and identifying and implementing process improvements. The incumbent executes and maintains processes that enable users to gain access to emails and OpenNet applications on mobile devices. The job entails being a client liaison and support for mobile telecom services. The incumbent will respond to client requests for mobile devices such as GO services, iPhones, Androids or regular cell phones.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience as a computer administrator or as an IT helpdesk consultant is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Complete Knowledge of computer equipment, Microsoft O365 and active directory. Standard business work processes and management principles, emphasizing strong customer support, and trouble-shooting techniques for IT. Complete knowledge of mobile device platforms (Laptops, Apple iPhone, and Android) and their operating systems. Education Requirements:
Two years of college or equivalent vocational training in general business administration or computer science is required.
