Operational manager is required for a reputable company (plastic factory) in jordan – amman
Operations Manager : to manage and supervise all work activities of concerned units, including all branches and the implementation of business development plans by managing the sales and marketing activities to achieve the set goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Attain overall portfolio growth and quality goals and targets.
- Help prepare and review annual and quarterly branch budgets and projections in coordination with Finance Manager.
- Establish credit policies and procedures in coordination with General Manager
- Oversee implementation of credit activities and ensure credit policies, procedures and standards are followed.
- Monitor credit performance of each branch office (portfolio quality, monitoring, etc.) and of the loan applications.
- Provide technical assistance to each branch team as needed.
- Communicate regularly with branch managers and regional coordinators through site visits, monthly meetings and other means on their performance including progress towards targets, portfolio quality, efficiency, branch level sustainability.
- Collaborate with Finance Manager and General Manager on portfolio projections, loan write off.
- Report to General Manager on branch and overall institution activities, targets, plans, performance, and corrective measures.
- Oversee the development of marketing materials and approaches.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and evaluation of the branch staff and operational department staff.
- Coordinate with HR and Branch Managers on training for department staff and Branches including the development of training materials.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of industrial engineering or Administrative or Financial and Banking Sciences.
- Practical experience of no less than (5) years in the field.
- Knowledge of the policies and procedures that govern work related activities and their latest updates.
- Knowledge of the services and products provided by the company.
- Highly skilled in leadership, supervisory and administration.
- Highly skilled in strategic planning.
- Able to manage objective-based performance appraisal.
- Able to negotiate.
- Able to motivate and team player.
- Able to make decisions and solve problems.
- Able to communicate and manage personnel.
- Good command of English (writing, reading and speaking).
- Conversant with computers and its various related applications.
