The Senior F-15QA CLS Maintenance Manager
operates in a Mission Critical fast paced environment overseeing, mentoring, and supporting multiple First Line Leaders running CLS maintenance within a highly complex and multi organizational customer environment to deliver against contractual requirements and mission execution. As a successful candidate you will be embedded within an environment working alongside peers, teams and customers in dynamic and operationally focused atmosphere
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day maintenance operations across multiple areas of operations ensuring that the Contractual, Customer, and organizational procedures and standards are complied with at all times.
- Develop Interface with multiple stakeholders as well as internal and external functions to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance services.
- Analyze TO’s, TCTO’s, engineering and maintenance documents to determine workflow, resources, capacity, and execution timelines
- F-15 platform and 21-101 process knowledge will be vital in helping the customer achieve their training and business objectives
- Ensure timely execution of all maintenance activities ensuring the Customer aircraft are returned to service in a timely manner and to the required standard.
- You will be an upbeat self-starter with the correct proficiency and attitude that can build enduring customer intimacy and hard-working teams within an exciting and demanding arena
- Management of cost target and identify cost reduction initiatives within the maintenance services environment.
- Implement, lead, and manage Risk, Issues, and Opportunity in BORIS
- Manpower planning, staffing, training, time management, performance management, personal development.
- Meet training requirements for mandatory and non-mandatory training.
- Promote innovation and champion continuous improvement initiatives such as OneBPS.
- Promote Safety Culture, First Time Quality, FOD Reporting and SMS.
- Work with the Quality Team to address occurrences and audit findings in a timely manner.
- Provide oversight and approval of performance approaches, acquires resources, and maintains quality, safety, schedule, and cost plans.
- Represents program/organization as a prime contact on local day-to-day operations.
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- You will act as ambassador for The Boeing Company at appropriate client organization levels (grade dependent) and will be responsible for generating full or elements of, execution solutions in line with the contractual requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ Years in a Manager and/or Leadership Role overseeing teams
- 5+ years of experience in providing technical and performance oversight of aircraft maintenance or modifications, including briefing US Government Customers on status of performance
- Knowledge of AFI 21-101
- 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
- Ability to travel to domestically and/or internationally on short notice
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience with F-15 aircraft systems
- Experience in leading efforts from cradle to grave
- Experience in integrating multiple priorities and missions simultaneously
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Maintenance /Modification
- Field Service and/or Maintenance leadership
- Military Program Support
- Financial/Eye For Business
- FMS Government Contracting Requirements and Compliance
