Job Summary:

Supply Planning Supervisor has a major role in achieving the overall Supply Chain Objective: to fulfill the Demand and satisfy the market needs with optimum utilization of resources (People, Machines & Materials).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Study the Demand Plans, in terms of capacity and materials required in order to Develop a Supply Plan and MRP.
  • Study the confirmed sales orders and set a Planned Delivery Date of each considering the capacity and materials availability.
  • Develop an executional Production Plans, Detailed Production Schedule per working center, considering the availability of resources, both Human and Machinery, to meet the Planned Delivery Dates of each Product.
  • Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to schedule of production & production support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
  • Update the related parties with the production status to ensure all are aware of workflow and all objectives are integrated.
  • Study operational productivity data for the materials to be manufactured and analyze the data for production capacities in factories and perform the necessary calculations to determine the productivity requirements of time, materials, equipment and manpower.
  • Schedule and planning materials, equipment and staff through the development of the Master Production Plan to determine all productive activities to be completed according to specified time for each activity according to the availability of materials and equipment needed, to ensure the best use of those materials, equipment and labor and reduce costs.
  • Identify software procedural improvements to the Operations process to eliminate waste.
  • Report and Control the Inventory levels of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials to minimize losses.
  • Suggest process improvement and cost cutting projects and activities such as the improvement of supply lead time.

Requirements:

  1. B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or any related field as per the country regulations
  2. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, Preferable in Pharmaceuticals Industry.
