We are looking for an (Engineering Trainer) to join our team, with the following requirements.
The Role:
As an Engineering Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver hands on bench-fitting training to maintenance personnel of all levels and experiences. You’ll be responsible for creating a friendly and supportive environment for development.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Carry out training processes
- Develop, coordinate, and perform Electrical and Mechanical technicians training and qualification plans
- Provide maintenance and operation training on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Train Electrical and Mechanical technicians
- Partners on administration processes and engineering reporting requirements.
- Teach basic Engineering hand skills to maintenance technicians, including fitting, drilling and grinding
- Focus on Health and Safety
- Maintain classroom control
- Update training documentation
- Work in line with all policies and S.O.P.s
Essential experience of the Engineering Trainer:
- Good craft/technical skills
- Previous experience of engineering /using hand tools
- PC literate with PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- Use of analogue measuring equipment is desirable
- Previous training experience is must, you should bring your technical, development, supporting skills
