The intern will have the chance to contribute to the PQL efforts for Iqlaa activity and work alongside experienced professionals in the field.The intern will gain the following skills by the end of the assignment:• Develop a strong understanding of quality management approaches.• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the continuous improvement approaches.• Enhance writing skills.• Enhance project monitoring and controlling skills.• Enhance data analysis skills by supporting staff members in analyzing data from various sources.• Showcase creativity and visual communication skills by developing visually appealing and informative learning product visualizations.Essential Responsibilities• Assist the program quality and learning team in capture documented lessons learned and development of learning briefs.• Analyze and synthesize relevant information from various sources to identify key insights and best practices.• Assist the program quality and learning team in preparing and facilitating learning and program reviews exercises.• Develop learning product visualizations: Utilize data and information gathered from literature reviews, learning briefs, and other sources to create visually appealing and informative learning product visualizations.• Support staff members in analyzing data collected from various sources.• Create infographics to visually represent data and highlight key trends and patterns.• Any other duties as may be assigned.AccountabilityReports Directly To: The Program Quality and Learning Director.Works Directly With: The CLA Manager, the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist, and Information Management Senior Coordinator.Accountability to Participants and StakeholdersMercy Corps team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to our program participants, community partners, other stakeholders, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work. We are committed to actively engaging communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of our field projects.Minimum Qualification & Transferable Skills• Recent university graduate or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, international development, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.• Strong research skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive literature reviews.• Proficiency in data visualization tools and software.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Attention to detail and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.• Strong data analytic skills.Living Conditions / Environmental ConditionsThe position is based in Amman, Jordan and it requires up to 30% travel to Jordanian’s governorates to support implementing the program activities.Mercy Corps team members represent the agency both during and outside work hours.
